<< Bing Crosby when I was a kid (don't ask) 🙂 >>

Is that Bill Cosby's brother?!?!?!?!😀 j/k I wont ask... That took guts putting your voice for everyone to hack on.

FreAk😀

I'd sing for you guys but everyone should start the New Year on a GOOD note😱

I've just listened to your StarSpangledBanner. As some already mentioned, you do have possibilities.
Here and there a bit off key, but that can be worked on. (Me, I think you're definitely not a bass, more bariton.)
As someone mentioned earlier, don't slide into the notes. This sliding increases the chance, you'll sing offkey. Don't know whether your hearing loss will adversely effect your singing.
Once had a friend of mine who sang seriously offkey. I said to him to sing with music and put a finger in one of his ears. This way one ear will hear the music, the other ear will hear his own singing.
Btw, are you singing with your speakingvoice, or you singingvoice?

Good luck with your singing!

I am singing with my singing voice, but it seems that my singing voice can be like it is or higher, though I can control some of it, it really depends on how I start out. I guess I'll have to invest into some music to sing along with, it would help if I knew how to read music.

Hzl_eyed_grl: I downloaded your clip and edited it, put in some reverb and amplified it some. There is a little bit of distortion because of the amplification, but it sounds pretty good. If you want I will put it on my homepage, but if I don't hear from you I will just delete it, since it really isn't mine and I don't like messing around with other peoples things on the internet.

Then you're definitely a bariton. It's not light enough to be a tenor. If you cannot read music (yet), I would really invest some time in teaching yourself to read music. (Or taking some courses). That really pays off in the end. I can read music (a bit) so one time I sang along the tenor part from a choir piece (Halleluja from Händel's Messiah), by playing it on cd and singing from a booklet which had the whole part in text and music.

[edit]
Am just an amateur, so it really kicked when I sang that part in a choir (not a real choir, but all amateurs who came together to rehearse and sing for a christmas-service).

Sure, if you still have it I'd like to hear it. I didn't see what you said until now. 🙂

Thank you. I'll have to listen to the rest of yours now. 😀 Heehee Good luck in your singing career. 🙂

pick a key.... that's not Unchained Melody BTW..... Sounds like you are in an airplane hangar. I think if you had the music tracks to have something as a pitch reference, you would have a much better time, rhythmically and pitchwise.

Keep working on it.....

BDOG

DID YOU DO THE HAZEL EYED GIRL THING?????? because that is miles above the rest in terms of vibrato control, pitch and rhythm. Your falsetto is nice! Sing up there all the time!

Bulldog: That is hzl_eyed_grl from the ATOT forums. She did a little bit of a song and I edited it adding reverb and amplitude.

Thanks for everyones comments. I am still a work in progress.

Will

P.S.
hzl_eyed_grl: You sound good.
