Nice. To be frank, I lost interest in their newer stuff after Ghost Reveries. Watershed was okay at best no matter how much I tried. I haven't even bothered with Heritage.

I think their best albums were Ghost Reveries through Blackwater, Deliverance, & Blackwater PArk era.

Still Life was their peak. They haven't released anything bad though.

One of my favorite albums is Blackwater Park. One of my least favorite albums is Heritage. So, I'm not too sad they won't be anywhere near my area...

Awesome can't wait. Saw them in October and they were great as usual, I'm sure this set is going to be much heavier since they're touring with Mastodon.

Probably going to try to go to the Chicago show.

Personally, I think Heritage is one of their best albums by far. Next up would probably be Blackwater Park and/or Ghost Reveries. Hell, they're all fantastic...

I don't get the hate for Watershed. Heritage is an excellent album as well, though I do admit I prefer the heavier stuff.

I missed the heavy stuff in their last tour... looks like I'll be driving to Dallas or San Antonio for this one...

Heritage is pretty good but I found it to be the least interesting material they've offered.

No love for My Arms, Your Hearse here? Definitely at the top for me when it comes to Opeth. The song When is as close to perfection as they've ever gotten.

Might have to make a trip down to ATL for this. I can't get enough of Mastodon. Never even heard of Ghost before though...

For some reason I just can't get into Opeth

I had to listen to the entire "Ghost Reveries" album at least 5 times before I liked Opeth. I had to listen to it about 50 more times before I realized Opeth is probably one of the best bands around. Opeth is not an "easy" band to listen to and get into, but once you get there...totally worth it.

My Arms, Your Hearse is probably my favorite, BWP is a close second.

Sucks though, they stopped coming to FL a while back along with other bands i used to go see yearly.

Dark Tranquillity, The Haunted, Scar Symmetry all of em stopped coming here.

Same here. I had Blackwater Park in my library for close to two years before it finally just "clicked". Actually, Opeth is what got me off of my metal and radio-rock kick and into the good stuff.

Killswitch Engage was my favorite band for a long time :/

Funny, I was pretty much the same way. I had BWP for probably two to three years before I really started to pick up on the subtleties that makes them so amazing.
