Serious question, cause I haven't heard anyone answer it yet...what does the WI stuff have to do with corporations? People keep bringing it up.
BTW, I hate am opposed to corporatists just as much or even more than government unions.
I had my own views before I even heard of the koch brothers or the tea party even existed (which I am not a member of and never intend to be)
Simply, the corporatist agenda is allied with right-wing warriors like Walker, and the corporatist agenda is at war with entities like unions.
Not only the direct issue - unions raising workers from disposable impoverished cattle to better paid middle class that costs them money - but this is a political war aimed at destroying the Democrats' #1 source of funding, so that the corporatists' party - the Republicans - can have more and more of a monopoly on political power.
As I said before, look at things like the K Street project, created when Bush was elected to sell the federal government to donors and punish anyone who donated Democrats.
That gives you an idea the type of things they'll do for more power.
You are right to be concerned about the corporatocracy - it's ultimately at odds with democracy, and it corrupts our democracy in the meantime.
It has huge conflicts of interest with the American citizen not to mention the people of the world - if you want to support what's good for people, you would oppose its excesses.
This does not mean 'hate corporations', it means hate the EXCESSES - too big to fail, infiltration of government, pushing policies that benefit them at public expense wrongly etc.
