With the new deployment, total aircraft in the region will be around 500. That includes the 3 carrier squadrons, Suadi, Diego Garcia Naval Base. :Q:cool:

<< F-22 is the replacement for the aging F-15 in the air superiority role right? >>

Yep...

Which is silly, the F-15 still is perhaps one of the best fighters in the world...

The F-22 is great, but too expensive...

$200 million a plane for the first 10 planes, then $100 million a plane for 282 more of them... And knowing the government, they will somehow cost more than that...

I love new technology, and I love the F-22, great plane... But the F-15 is not out of date... The F-15 was so far ahead of its time, it is still a world class air craft...

j0lly,

Operation Noble Eagle is the homeland operation to increase security and provide relief to the disaster stricken ares in the United States.

Operation Infinite Justice is the name for our foreign operations in the Middle East.

According to Nightline on ABC, Operation Noble Eagle is in the US, trying to prevent further attacks. This is done with the call up of the army reserve.

Not a problem. I seriously thought that I would be called up as part of Noble Eagle, being a Garrison Military Police officer in the Army Reserve. No word yet though.
