The Windows 2000 looks like it might be media only, no lincense.
Didn't see any mention of lincense on the page.

It is not a pricing error. This is just the media of win 2k server. Businesses that have open license agreements with microsoft buy one set of media and purchase licenses online. Of course if you had a serial you could install it, but if you were going to pirate why even buy the media.

It's not a legit price, if you want to legally run Windows 2000. It looks like it might be some version of a 1 user CAL (Client Access License). For instance, if you own a 10 users copy, and you hire an 11th person, you might buy one additional CAL.

This looks to me like a 1 user copy. Not a CAL, not just media. Usually these licenses are only sold to companies that have Signed up for Enterprise licensing. Your normal 5 user win2k server version goes for around $500, so this just looks like a single user copy.

This sounds perfect for your web server.

If you buy a Dell computer with windows2000, you get a crap oem quality windows 2000 cd. It will ONLY let you install it on Dell machines. You will have a win2k license but only be able to install it on Dell's. That is when these such cd's come in handy.

Too expensive if you ask me though. A cd without a license should only be $5. I would rather just find someone with a copy and burn it.
