operaman1 on a BUMPing spree in FS/FT

If you have an issue with me bumping other people's threads why don't you take it up via pm? Point of fact is NO ONE is bumping my FS/FT threads so I am bumping others towards the back in hopes of getting mine recipricatedly bumped in the future. There is obviously a secret handshake here which I apparently haven't figured out yet as others here get their threads bumped by page three from others on a REGULAR BASIS. But hey, these guys have been here for years so you will decide what they will or will not do right?
Outside of that I rumage DAILY through the FS/FT Threads and I have started bumping those that I read. On three of them I made offers for their stuff. Sorry if your status as an Anandtech "God" is threatened by others you perceive as noobs. My advice is to mind your business.

Just curious, how many posts was this bumping spree and how is it any different than many of the other users who bump many threads.

BTW, this is boosting my threadcount a good deal. I don't think anyone reading all of this would think for a minute I am in the wrong. I was the one being attacked. If anything I am taking this in good humor. If for some reason people feel the need to use curse words and act like jerks that's there biz, but I am not going to stand idly by and allow people to behave in such a manner towards me.

Judging by your comments you would seem to be the expert on that one. I would certainly enjoy revealing all the pm's so people could see what a rude person you are. But of course because you chose to type mainly curse words 90% of it would be ****. Well, I didn't know you before, never posted anything towards you and yet you pm'd me. Where is your thread, operaman1? I see one from the 6th in which everything is sold or taken off since you decided to keep it. There's also one from 8/19 which you apparently abandoned. Is the search acting up again?
I don't see a problem with bumping threads in FS/FT - I think it's only polite to bump if you're reading a thread not already on the first page.
About the bumping club, you need either a female avatar or 80 hours of OT time.

Nah, I have't put anything up yet again. I just thought by bumping threads I looked at on page 9 and beyond I would build some good will with people when I decide to put stuff up for sale again. BTW, I did overreact to oldsmoboat pm'ing me and said I would report him to mods if he harassed me. I had some other not nice pm's mixed in making me aware of a bump on a thread where I defended a guy... I didn't expect to get a profanity filled response however. And thre facts are I am honestly left alone because I am a big guy not because I am violent or threatening. If anything I was trying to be humorous. He must have took offense. So sorry oldsmoboat. I was attempting humor there. Won't do it again...
Oh, and Oldsmoboat I will still buy you a beer if you are in NYC...
BTW, lost in all of this is what issue Rage187 would have with me? Unless of course he was part of some of those monster Alienware vs. Dell flamewars at notebookforums a few months ago...:Q

There is a secret handshake in FS/T... no doubt about it. Ppl who have been here for a long time bump each others threads and ppl bump threads just to get them to bump theirs back. Some of the older members never get their threads off the first two pages. Ppl even have links to their own FS/T trade threads in their posts when they bump.
Whether or not operaman1 was neffing or just post count increasing would depend on whether we are talking about a page full of bumps or just a few and how much time between bumps there were.
In any case, operaman1... this can be a funny place sometimes and coming across as overly defensive can look like you are being threatening and over reactive.
