Opera7 and memory

i posted this in software. but someone here will know sooner


OK someone clear this up for me, i just check my task manager and it showed Opera7 was using 50MEGS!!! of memort. WTF why in teh world is it that high. that is rediclious
thats teh same amount photoshop 7 uses!!
is this normal?????? its uses more and more memory the longer i have it open and te more things i open. and even if i close a bunmch of things it still uses teh memory

its not at 72 megs!!

its an amasing browser but this is unexcusible. no reason it should use so much

Well for one thing, much of IE isn't even included in the IExplore.exe. So it looks like it uses less. But who knows exactly how much it uses.

My Mozilla 1.2.1 install is using 35 megs right now.
 
I just had Opera running on an old K6-2 Machine with 300+ megs of ram, unistalled it...., far to much memory use.
