Finally... YTMND's work on Opera.
I love this browser like all hell now .

For some reason I can't get the back and forward buttons on my mouse to work with Opera. It gives me a text error message that only says error with an ok button

Blah, just hold the right mouse button and left click to go back . It's reverse for forward.

Edit: Or just hold the right mouse button and drag your mouse left and then let go of the button.

Logitech mouse? Remap the keys in Setpoint to ALT+Left & ALT+Right.

That's the FF fix and it doesn't seem to work for Opera.
