Opera 5 will not reply

Hi,

I seem to have an issue with the Opera 5 browser.
When trying to reply to a message (or create a topic) the request is going into a black hole.. i have to use IE to give replies. The rest works fine with Opera.

5.12 is just out and works with AT Forums. I'm posting from it now 🙂

[edit]: BTW 5.02 didn't work for me, but does for others. Quite strange.

5.12 is out?

Burntkooshie: the problem was just an incompatibility with two proper way to do things. Opera started using line breaks in thier HTML header, Fusetalk doesn't like line breaks. Neither was really wrong.

Demon, actually you are quite wrong. It has absolutely nothing to do with FuseTalk, it has to do with Opera and ColdFusion, the code does NOT READ ANY HEADERS 🙂. It detects if a variable is defined etc, ColdFusion reads the header not FuseTalk. So Opera, was incompatible with most any ColdFusion form, as they all work the same.

Huh, I must be doing something wrong then, Opera loads the document fast, but the last quople of images takes forever to load (transfer rate goes down to 1-2 KB/s, and I'm on cable). Opening this thread took 1 min and 2 sec. :Q Also the Private messages and forum polls images sometimes does not load

What settings should I use? Now it's 10000 kb disk cache, ram cache automatic, check modified Always on all three.

Just opening anandtech.com took over 30 sec, that's unbearable. It's a pity I'd really like to use Opera.
