Opera 10.52 is released, now 10.53

I hope they fix the page loading problem, because I'm about to dump Opera after being a long time user because it's getting so annoying (was a paid subscriber of Opera way back in the day).

whats the page loading issue people are having? because i have no idea what people are talking about when they complain about it

I was having trouble fully loading pics from RSS Feeds in 10.51, but so far, have not had that issue the past two days with 10.52
 
With the menu bar moved to left corner the UI looks much cleaner.
Never been fan of their maroon color (Opera) use in theme. New theme looks good though.

Some times when I try to open links from email messages it gives redirection or referrer error (503 i think) and won't open the site. I have the referrer setting enabled. Also I'm using Opera with Privoxy. The problem could be because of privoxy.

PeerBlock shows few "Opera Software .." entries in its log, not sure why.

It will just randomly stop loading a website when you go to it. Sometimes it gets far enough to where you can click a link and go elsewhere, other times you might just get a title bar or not even that. Click the stop/refresh button and the whole page loads up sometimes and other times not at all.

Consider yourself lucky to not have experienced it, it's quite irritating. I've been going back to IE 8 for awhile now and it never does this, but I'll have to get 10.52 a try because Opera is still my favorite of all the browsers.
 
I just installed it on the laptop, upgraded from 10.10..very nice indeed. Very fast and stable; no bugs encountered so far.
Opera user since 2001 🙂
 
Does Google Wave work fine for you guys in Opera?

When Opera browser is open is it always talking back with Opera.com? Shows entries in PeerBlock.
