Opening Ports on my Belkin Router

I want to open the ports on my Belkin router so that I can play Madden 05 CE online through the router. Only problem is I don't know how to find the ports. I did a google and searched the eagames website, but found nothing.

I could also just put my PS2 in the DMZ, if I only could figure out the PS2's IP address. I don't know how to do that either. The router doesn't show the IP's of the computer connected it to it, and it assings the ips from a pool of 39 numbers.

Any ideas?

If you don't konw which ports you need for the game, you could try a proggie called PORTVIEWER whilst connecting to the game

Hold on,....
I don't know what Madden is - not a player.

If you are trying to log on over the net using a ps, have i missed a great leap in technology, or in faith?

What router are you using?

You talk about the DMZ so I assume you can get into it and configure it using Internet Explorer and the Web interface for it. (something like http://192.168.1.1 then entering a password)

There should be something called fowarding or UPNP forwarding?

Do you have either of these?

It's a belkin 4 port router. What you explained is how I configure the router. The DMZ feature is there, but there is no forwarding to my knowledge.
