Even if you broke the failsafe and ran the thing door wide open, you wouldn't get hurt. Microwave is designed to function in a small enclosed area. It's not nearly as good at heating things outside of it, and I don't think it'll even heat something inside of it properly with the door open. Although, I'd make it a point not to stand in front of it for extended periods with the door opened.

The breaker is on the edge. The power is lost as soon as you even pull that and the element will stop a sheitload faster than the fan.

There are no fucking minute amounts of microvaves, not one fucking instant of them either.

Just so everyone gets this, we are BOMBARDED with microwaves, our cell phones use it, most communication devices use it and even if we don't have one someone else and the rest of the world has.

aaaahhhhhh, run for the hills.

Duh...of course it's bad.

When you hit the "OFF" switch, the system automatically lowers the lead shielding around the core...when you just open the door, it takes a few milliseconds for that process to occur...exposing you to high levels of nuk-u-leer badstuff...Why they's enuf of it in a single dose to make yer babies git borned nekkid.
