my friend is having a problem opening/ finding a file......she opened a email with a word attachment and chose to open..she then eidted the document and chose save but it didn't ask where to save then she closed the document and cannot find it...she tried to search the file and couldn't find it....she tried opening in word(from the recent opened files) but it says document name or path is not valid....is their anyway she can get this document back with re doing it?
 
Could it be that she didn't save it?
Does she still have the email?
It could be that her email isn't open or deleted therefore it couldn't open the document from recent opened files.
 
she's probably screwed. attachments are usually saved in a temp folder, which one depends on where the email was opened from. if the cache was cleared after she closed down her email program, the file is gone.
