i would like to be able to doubleclick on a mp3 and have it start playing in winamp, without losing the current playlist (if it gets added to the playlist, that is fine).

is there any way to do this? i know i can set it to enqueue on double click, but that just adds it to the playlist and whatever is currently playing just keeps on playing.

thanks!

Hmm.. I don't think that will work.. You could setup winamp to allow multiple instances, but then you'd have to pause one and then open another instance.

how about this: you may not be able to do this with a double click on a file, but how about right click it and choose 'enqueue in winamp' ? That's what I do.

he wants to do that, but then have the file play and then either continue w/ next song from playlist or start from beginning.
