OpenGL Problems

I started with a old TNT card (came with my system). Most games worked ok and in opengl. Upgraded to a Hercules Prophet 2 MX and it works great except for the fact when I went to play Half life CS, it says my card does not support OpenGL. I'm running 5.30 drivers. Should I try reinstalling the game or what? Any help would be appreciated. The game works good in D3D.

System specs:

Dell P3 500
128 Meg
Hercules MX

Since mobodys answering, I'll take a blind stab at it.

Try different drivers, re-install the game, download the latest patches, do a rain dance to the indian gods...

im outta ideas.

In case anybody has this same problem in the future I found the fix. Found the answer at www.geforcefaq.com, pretty useful site btw.

Click Start / Run.

Type "win.ini" (without quotes) and press OK.

Search for a line that says "DVA=0" (without quotes).

Add a semicolon (😉 before the DVA (The line should now look like this: ";DVA=0" (without quotes))

Save and close the file

Thanks for everybody input
