damn str8 cma, love the way my radeon handles the game in OGL! no more stutters that were frequent with the loki drivers 😀

When I tried the Loki opengl renderer a while back with the compressed textures, my framerate fell to half of what I was getting in d3d (I was getting about 70-75 in d3d, but 35-40 with the Loki renderer). I followed everything you had to do, and it sure looked purdy with the textures, but why did my framerate drop so much? I'm running a geforce ddr, P3 600e with 256mb ram.

urbantechie, yep! I use OpenGL for CS,however I prefer D3D for UT so it does depend on the game in question.

🙂

Mem,

I HIGHLY recommend that you try the new renderers and OpenGL in UT. I BET you will convert, just like I did!
