opengl game screenshots

some reason if i try to take screenshots in q2 or q3, they all just turn up black images.

i have a radeon9800. would it be a driver issue?

it used to work with my geforce2gts.

I'm assuming you're using the in-game screenshot function, right?

Try using FRAPS to take them.

yeah, f11 is bound to 'screenshot'

they both save a .tga file, but its solid black.

printscreen will work if the game is in a window.

fraps is working ok tho. its cool how it does movies too.

just drops my framerates from 300 down to 30!
