You just have to be VERY CAREFULL taking it apart and putting it back together. If you demolish the case you won't be able to put it back on. If your not really sure of yourself and have no reason to do this, i.e. installing a goldfinger device then you probably should'nt. I may sound like a hypocrite but i intend on using a GFD and wanted to see what cache and core i had. I would've liked a 750 core but i'm glad i at least got the 3.1 cache. Its not real hard taking that case apart but if you are not carefull you could scratch or gouge it and have a nice new paperweight on your hands. Just go really slow and tell yourself that you need to put it back together where as nobody will notice you took it apart,that way you will be more cautious. I know if my girlfriend even knew i ripped my computer apart without even having the GFD yet she would chew me out a bit as i am broke right now and won't have one for a couple of days..
