"Open with" on ftp through router added to network

Hello, when i play mp3 through my network (ftp that is on my router), it is not opened and played with Foobar that i want, but through the browser. And if i right-click the files there it will only display information about rights of the file. Anyone know what to do to change it?

And if i delete the files throught the network does it have a separate trash? I'm on Windows 7 and the router is a TP-link wr1043nd. Thanks.

FTP is a "browser" app in Windows. You would be better off using CIFS.

When you delete stuff from the network, it is gone. No "recycle bin"
