I want to have a website (http://www.google.com) open up when i start windows, but i don't want it to be visible. Like i want to download the index.html and save it to my harddrive without it being shown.

Is there any dos command or something that can just go out and access a file on the net and download it to my harddrive without popping up any windows?

Are you trying to do this so that it loads faster in your browser? Or are you trying to save the page to access when you're offline?

nevermind, i finally found something

url2file.exe -- it lets you save a website to your hdd... all i wanted was to save the actual html file to my hdd.... got it finally

thanks though 🙂
