There were some interesting points that were put forward. You can say sentiment towards the present situation, however there is a very valid point regarding the US infiltrating the borders of Afghanistan.

I was typing a very fitting reply to everyone regarding my standpoint. What happened to freedom of speech? Sure you can say it was locked due to it was getting out of hand. Sentiments beside, the other point of view has to be taken. It has been noted in the past that taking a one side of a situationclouds the other points of view, which may or may not be correct. The views of the members of these forums are considered free speech. If one wants to declare his or her rationality towards the impending situation, I think you should let one do so.

I don?t care if you ban me, I have been a long time member of this forum, and putting my feet down on a situation that I feel very strongly about is my way of expressing my desire to be heard. If that isn?t allowed by your rules and bylaws, then go aheadand make my day.

well let see, thats in the constitiution, the constitiution is a contract between the people and the government ONLY, it has no bearings here, you have no free speech here, this is a privately owned server that you are being granted the permission by the owners to use (anandtech INC.). they are allowed to edit delete lock or prevent you or any other user from posting here.

as for you complaint, the mods will have to take care of that .

I can't tell you why it was locked, but I will say it usually is on its way to lockdown when the OP changes the title from "Who thinks Bush is an idot?" (as I recall) to "Who likes hotdogs?".
