I have a Matrox G200 card with 16 mgs ram. I'm using the latest bios and driver from Matrox. My mainboard is the MSI K7T Pro 2A with 256 megs of ram. The bios on the mainboard are the ones that came on the driver disk. My games will not run in Open GL, they freeze just after loading. I have no conflicts in my IRQ settings or in system configuration. D3D and software run ok. What might the problem be? The game loads in Open GL but just as the game starts it freezes. I'm going to be upgrading to the Radeon 64 VIVO or GF2 34 in the near future but I don't think this is a driver problem. Could it be a memory/resources problem?
Thanks for any help, Jon

First I'd try updating the bios from the manufacturer's website...Doubt it's a resource or memory problem....What OS you using ?? Win 2K may solve all your problems...

What driver ver. are you using? I know the latest G400 drivers have built in OGL support... don't know about the G200.

you say that there are no conflicts with your irq settings. what irq is the card assigned & what else shares that irq?
make sure you're using 16 or 32 bit colour for your desktop as ogl acceleration will not work with 24bit colour.
what is your AGP aperture size set at? have you tried increasing it to see if it helps.
try downloading the matrox utility MTSU4.14 & try using the card with a lower AGPX!
