Our government is by the people, for the people....or at least, it was.

It's illegal to have drugs, anyone could have them, better search everyone all the time.

Not really the same thing I'm getting at but if you want to twist it around and make it over complicated then go ahead.

you will get it eventually, but sounds like the gov will just have to do it to sometihng you care about, to notice it.

maybe checkpoints every 5 miles to make sure you have a drivers license and insurance?

So I guess carding everyone looking to buy a drink at a restaurant is dumb as well?

All these guys who make these videos are fucking stupid and trying to provoke. They aren't excersising (sp) any rights, they are doing to make a video and try to get a cop in trouble for responding to a call.

The first cop wasn't a BAD cop as he stated, he was concerned for the safety of the general public. The second cop just knew what kind of asshole the gun toting moron is and let him be on his merry way.

I'm all for open carry...or whatever your outdated amendment says, but whats the harm in showing ID?

As a Canadian you simply don't understand sticking up for anything.

No, the logic you use to justify your statement is perfectly applicable to mine. I'm not twisting anything, just changing the specifics.

Open carry is legal (where this guy is), therefor nothing he's doing justifies a search, which is exactly why the second cop left him alone. Having a gun + possibly breaking a law, like carrying a gun as an illegal immigrant, doesn't justify a search. How often a legal activity occurs doesn't justify anything.

Walking on down street is legal, therefor a search isn't justified. Walking down a street + possibly breaking a law, like carrying illegal drugs, doesn't justify a search.

It's pretty much a 1:1 comparison, it's not my fault you don't understand logic, or the constitution.

I always cut myself because of how edgy these people are.
That said, the police should just let it go when they see they're dealing with one of these youtube activists and not waste energy on it.

You're as much of an idiot as the guy in the video...and the correct term would have been "standing up for anything"

If the cop has reason to believe any of that, then he can conduct an arrest/search/etc.

I say sticking because I am always standing. It's what I beat the idiots that try to f with me with and that is usually a 2x4 inserted anally and sideways.

Do you need a concealed weapons permit to carry it like that?

The guy in the video is a dork. But he has the right to do what he did.
These videos are so common now. I'm surprised there are still LEOs out there that don't know how to handle these dorks properly.

No I open carry and I will let them know ahead of time where it's going.

They aren't dorks. They are trying to get our country back to it's roots.
