used to be condition 1 2 and 3. Three isnt bad.

SPiff goes up with worse condition :)

And it was never a store manager to reduce in our store. Sales Managers were fully empowered.( ours usually took 100 bucks off below condition 3) Getting store manager to go below 2 was rare...and if he did he would manually adjust the spiff to F^ck ya. Well times, Im sure have changed:)

assuming that the CC inventory is on 27th.....will their be any other deals besides laptops and printers?
and if so, how soon will they show up on the display shelves?

From my "good old days" of CC the managers got a little crazy on open box prices right before we did inventory. He said he would "rather sell it then count it" Also the district manager gets a look at all of their numbers and they keep a close eye on how much money they have tied up in openbox items. So saturday or sunday before they do inventory might be a great time to go in and get a great deal.

Inventory will be nationwide, for all CircuitCity.
I think only laptops and printers are used for inventory.

I think this inventory price cutting has merit

I picked up a open box Apex Ad-1500 DVD player

regular price=89.95
open box price=75.00
when I told the salesman I wanted the open box one, he told me to go ahead and pick up anything else I wanted while he went to check to see how much more he could get off the price. when I was ready to pay, he said "how does 59.95 sound?"

YAHOOOOOO!

The open-box prices usually are priced by the system. However, a manager can knock it down even further. Some would do it, some would not. Sometimes the system is very stupid. Who would buy an open-box for just $10 buck less?
