Was debating whether or not to upgrade my 8600GT to a 4830 @ ~$80-90, but you really can't go wrong here. Probably going to pick one up.

This is a great deal.

The hard part about it is deciding between this and the MSI 4830 for $65 after rebate at zipzoomfly. Both seem to be great values for the processing power you get, respectively.

Damn 40 bucks for one of these! I paid 50 each for a couple in SLI and it is niceee...

For 40 bucks this has to be one of the best gpu deals... ever...

I'm having the same problem deciding. My budget isn't very high right now... and I'm not sure if I need an upgrade at the moment, but the 4830 really is a good card and is a steal for that price.

And seeing this card at $40 is making my decision even harder!

Hm, I wouldn't order one until they have them in stock IF there are any left to be had. That rebate is the difference between awesome and suck. Maybe PNY will offer another one after the 30th.

I will say, though, that I already have one of these. I'm very pleased with it and would like another for SLI. I also received the rebate for that one in less than 6 weeks. :)

No trouble with 30+ rebates from various vendors. This PNY rebate from Fry's ruined that record. PNY in El Paso says they never received it (over 5 weeks). Told me to resubmit everything to a Florida rebate address (had copies). Because of the 14 day window I don't expect to see my $40. Did I get ripped off by PNY? Who knows. Becareful. A few PNY rebate complaints on the internet. Also, ordering through Fry's.com was a comedy of errors. Not worth it IMHO due to short 14 day window and Fry's incompetency.

Dude, don't worry-if it's a resubmission the 14 day window doesn't apply, you can resubmit months later. I once did a resubmit after a year and still got paid cuz I only realized I never got the rebate when i was cleaning out old receipts.

Not according to PNY's fine print, "No resubmissions allowed." "Manufacturer is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail."

They almost all say that and I've never had a problem on any resubmit of any kind (have also NEVER lost a rebate and I've probably done at least 200 from everywhere - although I almost lost one when the company went bankrupt last year - was sweating for a moment!)

Missed out!!!

I didn't realize the that this card was almost the equivalent of a 8800gt 512, if overclocked by 100mhz, which should be no problem..

Here is a review on the same card.. Review

I waited too long, and did not pull the trigger...Now it only pre-order status..

But I just found this link,,,Same card available on Amazon, No tax, same rebate, And in Stock!!...Hurry..

OK, it's back up at $39.99AR FS with a new rebate. I also decided to bite at the last minute last night because the sales rep over the phone assured me that I would get it in time. 2 of these in SLI for $80.00AR FS was just too damn good to pass up, but now I need to find a good, cheap SLI motherboard.

That's exactly what I'm looking for now. 780 or 790 would be even cooler. Can you imagine how well 3 of these would perform?
