I flaked out on a number of rebate deals because I'm lazy so I was happy to see this.

"Compatible M/B Chipset: Intel P55 lntel H55 Intel X48 Intel P45 Intel X38 AMD 890 Series AMD 790 Series"

Will this RAM not work with Z68 Sandybridge platforms? I assume it does - just curious why they would have the above quote in the description?

Its probably just a old description from before sandybridge or it has not yet passed their internal testing on that platform, the ram I bought for my sandybridge setup said the same thing and it worked fine/passed memtestx64.

Anyone tried ordering 4 of those kits? Seems like it defaults to no free shipping. (UPS 3-day). Changing to egg-saver, removed the promo code. Still, for $150 for 32GB of RAM, that's a hot deal.

...Less than $5/GB w/o rebates...so tempting. What do y'all think - are we going to see 8GB kits for $30 or $25 w/o rebate? I still have HP DDR2 from the ~$3AR/GB deal, ha.

Anything cool I can do with extra ram if I add this to my computer? I currently have dual-core E5800 and i5. Both desktops have 4 gig of ram. I don't game and I mainly use the computer for internet browsing and movies. I assume my current rigs are overkill for what I'm doing now and anymore ram wouldn't benefit me. What can I do with the extra ram? 12 gig vs 4 gig.

This is really tempting, but I think I will save my money for an SSD and a CPU/MB upgrade.
