I almost pulled the trigger last night but I have 1600 now and don't want to drop down to 1333...

Received today, running 1333MHz with 8-8-8-24-1T timings at 1.55v. Will not boot at 7-7-7 or 1600MHz 9-9-9, but I haven't tried above 1.55v. Good enough for me!

Good point. I overclock and I tend to buy the higher speed RAM so that I won't have to overclock the RAM. Maybe I'll see if I can find a good deal on faster RAM.


Doesn't look like that's relevant for Sandy Bridge though.

I got this memory a couple days ago and it's definitely 1.5V.

Yep. I posted above, but I actually ended up with 8-7-7-22-1T with 1.59v. It will run stock timings with 1.5 though. Not like DRAM uses more than 8-10 watts anyway.
