Uhh, well you might not get too many responses with a thread title like "Oorgle". :)

If you want a reasonably highly integrated AMD motherboard the Abit KR7A-RAID is a good board. There's also the Soyo Dragon Plus which adds on integrated 10/100 ethernet along with 5.1 Cmedia hardware sound and a smart card reader. Can't beat that for the price (about the same or less than the Abit).

Also you could look into the Asus A7N266-E. It uses the nForce audio, a Realtek 10/100 LAN, nForce chipset, integrated Geforce2MX but no RAID.

But your definition of "best" might be a lot different than someone else's. You should say what features you need, what features might be nice to have in addition, and possibly what features you don't want (ie you might not want integrated SCSI while other people do :)).

if i could get any board i would go with the tyan tiger mpx or the tyan thunder

both are dual cpu
the thunder is top of the line, but it still uses the mp chipset so it only has 64bit/33mhz pci slots
the new tiger mpx has the 64bit/66mhz pci slots :)

the thunder also has onboard scsi (u160)

the tiger will cost around $225 shipped
the thunder around (S2462UNG) is around $420 shipped

Heh, he did say money was no problem. ;) That's way to high for me though. Most I would probably ever pay is around $150 for a mobo.

<<since its for AMD you wont find a best ddr board>>

You would instead suggest perhaps a Gigabyte 8IRXP? Why not save the Intel trolling for those interested in an Intel product.

The KR7A is probably the best if money is no object, I like the Dragon Plus for features and price.
