I'm not clear, but it seems that the pantograph physically hits something in the first few seconds on the video...it appears to not have clearances to fit the line supports. How could that train even be operating on that line? :confused:

It's crazy that the TGV still uses the same system, whoever thought that a train going close to 500 Kph should have an external apparatus that extrudes out for power, is certifiably insane.

The first thing it hit was probably not supposed to be there - part of one of the normal supports may have fallen out of place.

It looks like something was hanging off a support, maybe a fallen tree branch.
