I bought these about a month ago and htey've been sitting in the box, in the garage. I opened the box to verify, there's the center, front right, front left, rear right, rear left and a HUGE powerful sub. There are also brackets for mounting the speakers to the wall.
I bought these at a Home Audio Superstore that was going TU, and they were marked from $2499 to $1100, but i got the guy to drop down to $700. I dunno why, because now I'm having some serious buyer's remorse.
Anyway, I heard the demos in the store, and these biatches kick some SERIOUS ass. I was massively impressed, but it was still a stupid purchase that I probably shouldn't have made. I don't need this high end of a speaker setup. These have *never* been out of the box. As I said, I opened it up to check it out but never set it up.
So if you're looking for a good deal, great. These are Palermo branded speakers (I never heard of them before, but they made the high end Sony's sound like crap) and subwoofer. The speakers are all black and HEAVY, and the Sub is a gorgeous polished woodgrain and is heavy, heavy, heavy. This thing's box weighs about 75 pounds.
I would prefer to meet someone here in Southern California to do the deal, but if you want it shipped I can do that.
I may be interested in like a Geforce 6600GT PCI-e card or a decent Athlon 64 setup (Mobo/CPU/RAM) in trade for this monster.
