OOPS- this could be interesting- silly me mixed up my insulin.

One time my daughter dropped and broke her vial of insulin, and we couldn't get more for a couple days. She was ready to toss the broken vial, and I stopped her. There was still a bit in the bottom, so I told her to fill a syringe with the remainder, and reuse the syringe until it was gone. We were still running pretty tight, but with reducing carbs, and lowballing the insulin, we made it through. Disaster narrowly averted. It still pisses me off that insulin is prescription only. You should be able to drop in anywhere and buy it :^/
