Nice machine you built there.
Though I wouldn't have spent so much on a video card, unless you're a hardcore gamer.

Is that 2405FPW a rebadged Mitsubishi? I have an older 2040u and I absolutely love it.

Nice specs.
You're a fan of the Intel School of thought, i was under the impression that such minds were verboten in das forum...
😉

Last April I spent $480 on my video card 🙁...now you can get the same card for $250.

*cries*

Isn't the 2040u a CRT?

EDIT: not to mean that's bad or anything, I have a Dell rebadged Mitsubishi being shipped here right now, but the 2405 is a 24" LCD so I don't see why you're mentioning the 2040u.

damn, that's a fat monitor
I bought one when they first came out for $835.00 plus tax/ship, close to $900.00 I returned it for stupid reasons and regretted it, so when I saw the chance to get another one for less I jumped on it, its perfect too, not one stuck pixel 🙂

I have always gone the wintel/nvidia route, it just works.

Yea it's a CRT.
I mentioned it because the naming convention was along the same lines as the mitsubishi line.

Understand now?

Yeah, I get it.

Dell does all their monitors like that now though.

Just need to add more RAM and install a video card 🙂

same here. too bad i couldn't see into the future or i would've gotten the x800 deal from dell and the 2gb ddr from fry's for $100 after black friday. 🙁

I decided to go cheap all the way and only spent 380 on my upgrade to a Athlon 64 3200+ venice that I plan to overclock as soon as I get a hsf. Its enough for me, and I imagine it'll last for a while (i rarely upgrade).
