...was the first thing that came to mind when I read that ICE had a chat about a deportation manhunt including time, date, name, SSN, license plate, etc. and someone had added a person to the chat who wasn't ICE or a US Marshal or anything at all connected to the operation. Shades of the cabinet group message fiasco. I guess ICE didn't want to be outdone.

I've seen reports of unencrypted radio chatter also being picked up by amateur radio as well. Not exactly the same, but same incompetence.

Imagine, if you will, how Fox News would have reacted to this level of total incompetence if Biden's staff had made such a fucking stupid blunder.

We have a head moron who hired other morons whose qualifications must've included having to be more moronic than the head moron so as to make the head moron look less moronic. Nice try. Of course, a problem occurs when these morons try to act smart and end up making themselves look even more moronic than before. So to make themselves feel justified for being morons, they are compelled to apply double standards between themselves and their critics that defies the natural order of things where in their addled minds, a bag of rocks and plankton are at the top of the food chain.

This I gathered after conducting painful yet carefully studied observations of Trump holding those endless jaw dropping self-indulgent rallies of his where his shit-fer-brains MAGAts are hypnotically enraptured over those rapid fired lies and distortions of truth that are spit lubed out of that hole beneath his nose. Freaks me out every time I witness it happening.

My take is the sciences allow us to understand the world around us. The arts allow us to understand ourselves.

Both are very much necessary.

Honestly, don't really have any particular view on this (not even sure what exactly the argument is), but I have to wonder if those statistics account for the change in global demographics since those world wars. Pretty sure that the relative population size of Africa vs Europe, for example, has changed _massively_ since even WW2. Therefore your percentages and war-count might not relate to the same time period.

Also 'white' is, of course, a socially-constructed category anyway. So who are "we whites"? It won't be the same group over time and across different societies.
