Oops... forgot to pay off my CC bill...

I'm paying my CC bill 3 days late, will that have any negative effect on anything, such as a late fee or something on my credit history? It's only 3 days late. My CC company is MBNA by the way.

you mean 3 days after the date printed on the bill? Expect a late fee. Anywhere from $10-$30.

BTW, that date on the bill is the date it must be in their hands, not the date you can mail it out on.

It probably won't negatively impact your credit history but here's an idea: Call MBNA and ask 'em yourself?

If you've paid your bill on time for a couple months, you can call and ask customer service at some credit card companies to waive the fee if this is your first time being late. I've done it before and it saved me that pesky $25.00 late fee.
