Wait, so brass knuckles are illegal, but guns arn't? wtf is wrong with the US? If you're going to make guns legal fine, but don't go making less powerful weapons illegal, it makes no sense. I'd be more scared of someone with a gun then someone with brass knuckles.

Yep, like screw driver handles for example. This one set of screw drivers I have even says "Canadian Made Unbreakable Handle". I really can't see how it could be broken unless sawed into or something, it's an extremely hard plastic.

One could argue people collect guns just for display, but I'm sure EA's intent on the brass knuckles was the same. Though they should have probably researched the law a bit more before doing that. 😛

Just because it's possible to kill someone with it doesn't mean that's the only use for it. A gun serves a profound purpose simply sitting in the holster, snapped in, on a police officer's belt.

Pretty much my argument. Considering any welder would be able to make them easily there's no point in making them illegal, when more dangerous weapons exist that are legal.

Most of these could apply to brass knuckles as well. Frankly, I'd be more comfortable carrying brass knuckles around for self defense than a gun. If the other guy has a gun too, I'm not going to get into a shootout, I'm going to give him my wallet. If he doesn't, brass knuckles give me a huge advantage.

And yes, guns can kill people. Brass knuckles can kill people as well.

sigh... and so can cars, and baseball bats, and spoons. just because it CAN kill someone doesn't mean it should be outlawed. Brass knuckles have a very specific use. Guns are simply a machine that projects a lead bullet at a very high velocity through a cylinder.

You have one because you like to go have target practice with a friend and compete as to who got the most bullseyes? sounds like darts to me. You use your gun to hunt for food? well shit we better ban spears and bows and arrows! Have one for home defense? good for you, kill that bastard.
