Huh? Jumping from 6 ft is no big deal. The only time I've been hurt from jumping down before was when I was wearing mud boots without much padding and I jumped from an 8 ft roof. And then my legs/feet just felt sore for a little bit afterwards. Jumping from 6 ft should be no problem, especially if you are wearing some shoes that claim to have pads and shock-absorbtion mechanisms.
