Sorry mods, I know this is not a hot deal but a lot of folks in this forum use Onvia for their hot deals and I thought this was the best way to let everyone know. Lock if you must.

Well, it looks like Ingram Micro has taken over the outsourcing of Onvia product sales. They have upgraded the website, dropped free shipping and raised prices.

I guess the only good thing about the change is that they seem to have more of a variety of items.

Sorry to break the bad news. It's not like we didn't know this was coming...

a moment of silence is in order...

...

Thanks, Onvia, for all the money you've saved me over the last year... in shipping alone!

not only have they dropped the free shipping and raised prices, they now charge sales tax to California :frown: Better use that buy.com coupon...

It was good while it lasted...

This is truely sad since onvia to me was always a good source for competitively prices items with best of all free shipping on no matter what the size of the item. Although coupons were scarce they did have some pretty good ones here and there.

This is the first time a company made me cry. Well not really but you know what I mean. Me and Onvia sure had some good days together! :(

Ahhh... my fellow friends this is just the beginning as I am sure most of you know. Our days of frequent hot deals are numbered. The business strategy these net stores are based upon just don't return the economic profit capital requires. I worry that one day I will have to start shopping at Best Buy and OfficeMax for my PC and network equipment:(

I was there earlier also. I thought I had the wrong site! Yikes! Prices went WAY up. 17 " monitor $30 higher than Friday and no free shipping! I was a big Onvia customer, but all good things must come to an end. So where is a good place for monitors now (good prices and free shipping)?
