Ontario (Canada) screws over Tesla buyers for EV rebates

Ontario offers rebates for PHEVs and EVs based on battery size. Well, this year they've screwed over Tesla by putting an arbitrary $75000 CAD cap on the cars. If you pay $76000 on an EV, you get a $3000 rebate. If you pay $74000 on an EV, you get way, way, way more. As in 5-digit $.

Personally I think they should just reduce the rebates all around, and give them to more PHEVs and EVs more equally. Lower maximum all around.

They are trying to be politically correct with all the people complaining that someone gets a rebate on a $100k Tesla. In CA they have a income limit on the rebate instead of vehicle price.
