<< I just did a search and could find no other reference to Onslaught outside of Marvel Universe
X-Men
Epilogue
which evidently took place in 1997 so as to his returning, it could happen.......and monkeys could fly out of your butt :p

Hey, Im a newly reborn comic geek, what do you expect from me regarding a character I wish I was around to witness when he was created?

Plus, I totaly hate how they are treating superman now. I love the superman character, but they are turning him into an ubergod who can do anything.

I wont even get STARTED on what they are doing with Green Lantern. GOOD LORD!

Ahh yess.. Some time ago, I heard he is now immune to kryptonite?

Yeah I know how you feel :) When Marvel did the infinity gauntlet I was ready to give up on buying Marvel anymore because that whole plot with turning Adam Warlock into the god of the Marvel Universe tripe made me want to hurl!

Hes not immune to it, but his resistance to it is growing.

In the Elseworlds: Kingdom Come storyline, he was completely immune to it, and basicly was the only DC hero to survive a gigantic megaton nuclear blast designed to take out those with the metagene unscathed. Did I mention he was at ground zero?

In another storyline, the DC 1,000,000 storyline, superman had been sitting in the sun for some odd hundred thousand years, comes out completely gold, with the ability to resurrect Lois and give her all of his abilities.

In more recent times, superman has taken out a MUCH STRONGER Doomsday with a single punch.

BLECH!

Green Lantern now has the ability to create entire worlds with but a thought. Thats including people, each with totally individual and seperate personalities, in full living color. He no longer needs the power ring at all. And oh yeah, hes gaining the ability to read minds.

DOUBLE BLECH!

Right now?

It would have to be Origin #1. That or Ultimate Spidey #2, car variant.

I sold all of my old comics for 50 bucks back in the day :)

My prized comic is The Incredible Hulk #181 it's the first full appearance of the Wolverine :D I bought it off the Comics rack in the 7-11 when I was a kid and it's one of the few from my childhood that never got lost, trashed, or traded. I do have about a $25,000 collection at the moment, but haven't added 1 since the issue where Superman got his new powers. I only bought that because I noticed it whils buying a Sobee Power.

I think batman could beat any comic hero or villan. He'll he's taken on two predators. He's supersmart. In Batman Beyond, he tookout Superman(actually the thing controlling superman, but that required superman to be severly hurt).
Sure Batman doesn't have super strength or the ability to fly, but he does have the most import thing. The bat-belt(and his intelligence)

Batman is human. No matter how strong or intelligent he is, it would be too easy for someone like Superman to kick his butt

Batman has contingincy(sp) plans for taking out every major hero in the DCU. They have been used to take down the JLA in the Tower of Babel storyline.

Batman is another one of the DCU overpowered characters. He is a human. A plain human. An insane, amazingly driven human, but a human none the less. He should not be able to do the things he does, but this is DC, so all logic is thrown out the window.
