yep and i just read that they will not be touring this album, but will make tv stops and maybe surprised free concerts here and there. kinda cool if you ask me.

wow that is cool. i totally need the inside scoop on these "surprise concerts" is there anywhere they will be announced? even if for a few days beforehand?
 
i read about it on sonicnet.com and it didnt give any details. but more importantly i read that deftones and godsmack are touring together. cant wait to see them again!!!!

REM? didnt a long time ago say they were going to break up new years eve 1999? i guess that didnt happen.
 
We get a free REM concert in Toronto on Thursday afternoon. Its going to be at Yonge and Dundas for anyone interested.
 
N8Magic---you lucky b@stard---I saw something about another performance in Germany somewhere, too. Damn I wish they were gonna tour.
 
yeah I thought REM broke up a few years ago? did they just take a break (ala The Eagles.. 14yr vacation)
 
Bill Berry left the group, and since they never had gone through a line up change in all of their years, they pretty much called it quits.

My guess is that they've had a change of heart and are now performing as a trio.

Personally, I don't like the album. A little too shiny, happy and people. 🙁
