Was checking my OD for other posted deals. Didn't find didley except for one needle in a haystack. Not a current product for Office depot, so mileage may vary. prob wont find it elsewhere.

old product I've been eyeing since it was $25.00 2 months ago. Finally gave in and picked it up for $9.88.
ask for sku 204354 SL waber 350 UPS

Hint: Look for items on top stock with old faded out handwritten sku's for rare gems. I dont believe OD is still using the avery colored labels to mark their sku's but if u see a box with a different color sku that is next to many other items with a different color label, chances are thats a clearanced items. SO when shopping at OD, look up for old faded colored labels with sku's on them, including furniture!!! Good luck fellow Ferengi's!!!

These were out long time ago in Los Angeles and areas.
You are lucky that you still found one.

you got to go to OD locations that others anandtechers do not hit!!!Otherwise, find a rural od store or one where the employers and managers either suck or are too lazy and hide their merchadise, heheh.

Store's in silver spring, MD

You are right about that store :)
I don't think I will drive half hour to get to that area though...

It's probably worth that because you'll spend money on shipping it back to SL Waber when it fails. :p

My SL Waber UPS died after about 8 months of bare usage. I understood from other owners that they have a horrible failure rate. Mine is the under-monitor unit (420VA), but it's certainly a nice powerstrip for my components. :) They are now protected by APC.

Well, for what it's worth, my APC Office 280 has failed 3x now in the last 2 years.

Latest failure was showing as my monitor having wavy lines like an AC-Fan was on the line....true, not a failure, but still.

The replacement works normally...for now.

Despite this, I recommend APCC to people

I have a TrippLite 700VA that's been running for over 18 months without any problems whatsoever. My APC BackUps Office 350 has been going for about 6 months without any trouble. Also have an APC BackUps Pro 500 that I'm now using just recently (replaced that SL Waber). I have also used a PK Electronics Blackout Buster which was a sturdy piece of equipment that my brother still uses on his server at home (in use for over two years).
