Only have a 64 gig SSD for OS/Programs. How do I map docs and stuff to my 1TB drive?

Hey all. Just finished my main build. I only have a 64 Gig OS drive so I figure I'm screwed in about 3 months, lol. How do I map "My documents" and all that stuff to go directly on the old 1TB I threw back in there instead of taking more of the SSD space? Will that result in a decrease in performance at all or does it just take a little longer to index? Let me know. Thanks.

Edit: And can I go ahead an put Steam and games on there too?

If you're on Vista/7 just right click your 'Documents' folder and go to properties, go to the location tab and specify where you want it. And yes, you can put Steam on the other drive, just specify the other drive when you install Steam. If Steam is already installed on the SSD you can reinstall it on the other drive and move over the game files.

Thanks for answering. Going to try both a bit later.

Ok, well tried what I thought was right. Placed "Target location" as the newly added E drive (1 TB) and did a practic run by downloading Unengine from Guru3d. And sure enough it's not on the TB drive spot that I mapped for it. It's also not in the standard "favorites spot" under W7 under My documents. I have to go click on me a user....which still leaves it incorrectly on the C: drive. I knew this wasn't going to go as planned. Any ideas?

Thanks. Doesn't look too hard. Did it go off without a hitch?

Edit: This is a nightmare. I swear it was easier than this. The video linked is to change during initial installation. And the other method you must create a directory on the new drive or you get an error msg. Don't know how to do that with all kinds of data on it....
