I'm looking to host online software that would allow users to build a webpage using a wizard. Something like geocities.

Is anyone familiar with any software out there that will do this?

It's for a school district's teachers to be able to design pages without having to know html or having to have someone build them for them.

Thanks.

you should try to script your own. it shouldnt be too hard if you give them a basic layout only.

Ahh. I wouldn't even know where to begin or find the time to try.

Any idea of a package I could purchase?

You should use Tripod's Site Builder. Get an account with Tripod, go to BUILD and choose Site Builder. :)

Tripod may work for a personal website, but I need something that will allow 500 teachers to build their own sites and host them on our servers.

Thanks.

I looked through all of the PHP and CGI resources and they all seemed too complicated for a non technical teachers to figure out.

Do you know of any good comercial packages that we could purchase?

This is a lost cause isn't it?
