Are there any reputable sites that don't charge tax in CA? i'm looking to buy a canon sd400 but don't feel like paying tax because if that's the case i might as well buy retail. Thanks in advance.
 
Since you already know the model that you want, just go to shopping.yahoo.com. Enter the make and model of the camera and your zip code, and it will spit out the cheapest price available (including tax and shipping when applicable).

I've bought a Sony DVD Handycam & a Nikon digicam from this merchant - they're in NY so no tax, and the price seems right.

 
not sure abt tax, but buydig.com has the most competitive prices, and maybe will make up for the tax through the low prices.
