Had to buy hubcaps for my mom's car since some d-ckhead felt it was necessary to steal one during the blackout. Seemed like the only option was dreaded eBay. Damn PayPal wouldn't let me pay the entire balance with my credit card. So my PayPal balance was wiped clean and the rest was charged to the credit card. Seller also accepted C2it but they are Master Card only.

Must be screw Kevin weekend, atleast its almost over...

You guys are slow so I'll spell it out for you. I had $35 in my PayPal account and the item total was $60. I wanted to pay the $60 with my Visa but PayPal would not allow it. They forced me to pay with the $35 in my balance and the $25 remainder with my credit card. I asked the seller if they accepted any other forms of payment so I wouldn't lose my $35 balance and he replyed he also acceptes c2it. I signed up for c2it and was about to send payment when I see "Master Card only" on the sign up sheet. I do not have a Master Card, I have a Visa and Amex. Eventually I was forced to pay with PayPal and lose my $35 balance. It might not sound like a big deal, but a lot of people in For Sale/Trade only accept non-cc PayPal.

Get it now?

That's how PayPal has ALWAYS worked . . .

So- easy solution . . . withdraw the $35 to your bank first . . . then you can pay it fully w/ your CC

Actually Kevin, we got it. We just don't care. It's an important distinction ;)

Sooo.. you're basically pissed that the $35.00 of YOUR money had to be used to get your mother's hubcaps for her... And you couldn't charge the full amount to what is probably her credit card, and now you will have to ask your mother for the $35.00?

Don't you think that's a LITTLE petty?

Sorry, you're WRONG.

The credit card is in MY name. I said it before, I like to have a balance in my PayPal since a lot of people only accept non-cc PayPal in For Sale/Trade.

you do realize the hubcaps comes flying off if you hit corners real hard, or they just pop off for no apparent reason.

That's why you see many Volkswagen Passats, Jettas, Camrys, Accords with missing hubcaps.

I highly doubt anyone would risk getting arrested or risk getting their ass kicked for some POS hubcaps.

If it were some nice rims or whatever that's another story.

Nope, mom came home from work at 4:30 and all 4 hubcaps were there. At midnight they were still there. 2AM I wake up from my hour nap and 1 is missing.

I know Galants are notorious for having their hubcaps fly off, but this one was taken...

Its pretty hard not to notice when you're sitting outside and the car is maybe 20 feet infront of you.

You woke up at 2am and decided to check hubcaps on a car? WHY?

I know its tough to grasp but please bear with me. A 'blackout' is when there is no electricity, OK? Our power was off for 10 hours resulting no air conditioning. There was no breeze so opening the windows did nothing. Its very hard to sleep when its humid and over 90 degrees in your house. When I woke up from my nap, I went to sit outside again and noticed one of the hubcaps missing. Again, its hard not to notice because the car is parked directly infront of my house...

You failed to answer my question...you said that your mother got home around 430 or whatever and all the hubcaps were on. I asked, how would you know they were on after getting home unless you walked around and looked at all the tires? Or, are you saying that she went up in the house afterwards and looked out the window at the car and noticed that all were there?

Because they took the one hubcap that is visible from my house. Her hands were full so I went outside and helped. Both hubcaps were there, since a black wheel is pretty visible...

Lost one on our camry yesterday, thought someone might'of taken it, but, I'm pretty sure I just didn't notice it when it fell off. Went back along the short route where it disappeared and it was nowhere to be found. :(

Oh well, $35 for a new hubcap... wish I had the actual nice wheels and not hubcaps. Too much $$$ though.
