online merchant/retailer review sites?

hi,
awhile ago here i heard people mention some great online merchant review sites where people rated their experiences with web stores. im buying a stereo possibly from one of the 'big 5' yahoo shopping retailers but they are all in brooklyn, ny... which ive found is a sketchy place to buy expensive electronics from. so does anyone know of these sites where i can check up on them?

thanks but unfortunately the retailer reviews on anandtech are mostly just computer store merchants and im looking for a broader range, i know these are popular merchants , at least they must be because they are always the first 5 that come up with the lowest prices for electronics on yahoo shopping, they are always in brooklyn and any other stores NOT in brooklyn always have items for quite a jump more money, so its strange. ive heard very bad things about another one of these brooklyn shops a long time ago so i wanted to check on the others. thanx
