I did not check out the low-mid priced ones. I made a general assumption that Costco/Sam's would equal or beat the prices of any mattress store. I bought at Costco b/c they had the mattress that felt the best for me. It cost more that a different mattress at Sam's.


"Did you think the low-mid priced ones at the mattress stores were any better than the ones at the warehouse stores? And price was the only reason you bought from Costco? "
 
The Sealy Posturepedic Fenway Queen at Costco is showing $589 now. WTF? As I mentioned, it was $489 on 2/18 (without coupon). So it's now $200 more than some of you paid!
I was really hoping to get a mattress without having to wait until January. Also since I'm not a member, could I even use the coupon? I wouldn't get one in the mail.
 
I have a Select Comfort bed and wouldn't trade it in for the world. It allows you to change the firmness of your mattress on a side by side basis. For example my wife likes a very soft bed and I like a hard bed.
