Just wondering whats a better option building a resume online verses uploading my own. I think mine is pretty good, and wanted to know what advantages there were to building it online. I'm graduating in may and am looking for something decent.

Yes I am fully aware that putting my resume online isn't the best way to find it. I will also try other sources, but figure one more would not hurt. I'll be going through craigslist, mailing employers, going to the office in person if I have to, to hand in my resume.

Does your school offer any job placement leads?

Not really. They do offer some, but a lot of it is up to us, and the other thing is I'm looking to move to Boston, MA from NY. Most of the jobs are offered in NY.

It was just a suggestion, I wasn't aware that you wanted to relocate. Perhaps the dept. head of your major might have some leads? It's worth a quick inquiry IMO :)

The best way to find work, in my experience, is to ask people you know if their places of work are hiring. Having a referral is the best way to land a job.
