It's turn based like worms 3d but your weapon is a cannon and you have the ability to fire on other player's cannons.
It's was free but had a pay version as well
You had multiple kinds of projectiles you could fire and when it wasn't your turn, you were able to fire "defensive" balls to be able to build up the terrain around you or under you.
If anyone knows, please feel free to post. I would greatly appreciate it.

Had weapons like, Death's head, Mirv, Etc? You could use shields, etc? A buy screen happened between each round?
 
those are similar but not the exact game I was looking for. the "cannons" looked like something that would come directly off of a pirate ship.
The only free map was an island map. I think six players could all play at once. If you made a direct hit on another player, I think their cannon would explode into gold coins for your reward. The game didn't look all that great but it was in 3d and you could fire 360 degrees.
The last time I played it was probably a year and a half ago. It may not even exist anymore. Thanks for the replies
