Online e-tailers LCD return policies.

Was hoping to get a lcd from a local brick and mortar but none carry the models Im intererested in.

Are most online companies like Newegg where they will only accept a return for 8 dead pixels or more?

Any recommendations?

When unsure or don't fell comfortable with something you want to buy and keep ie. new models etc. Always use or buy at local B&M as they seem to have the best return policy varying from 21 days to up to 60 days or even longer, eg. Costco.
Can't say about NE but Dell is 4 or more dead pixels. Best thing to do is call and ask.
Just my $0.02

Dell does have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Just tell them you're not happy and you want a replacement. Most online retailers have a similar policy to Newegg. And as videopho said, most brick & mortor stores usually have a 2-4 week (some longer) satisfaction guarantee.

As much as I hate paying retail and wanted a 940B ($300) instead of a 930B ($300+tax), I purchased locally so I could return if a pixel was dead. For $300 and up purchases, I just can't see taking anything less than a perfect item; especially since I will have to look at this purchase quite often and for a long period of time.
